What happens if my company accounts are not filed by the deadline?
To make sure that we can help you avoid this situation, we request that you submit your accounting documents well ahead of the deadline. This makes sure that we have enough time to:
-
Work with our accounting partners to prepare your accounts
-
Give you the time you need to review and approve your accounts
-
Make any changes if necessary
If your accounts are not filed on time it will result in fines and ultimately, action will be taken to strike off your company. Not filing your annual returns or accounts is a criminal offence, which could result in you being personally fined in the criminal courts
