Standalone Companies
All Standalone companies incorporated through the GetGround platform have 100 ordinary shares as standard. We do not currently offer the ability to use other types of share classes or structures.
Holding Companies
The GetGround Holding company is incorporated with 1,000 ordinary shares of £0.10 each. Each subsidiary then has 100 ordinary shares of £1 each.
Up to 8 individuals can own shares in the holding company and in turn, the holding company is the 100% owner of all subsidiary companies.
You can update the shareholder structure of a holding company at any time.
If you would like to sell shares in a subsidiary company, please note that this must be done as a whole (100% of the shares).
These shares will be distributed to your shareholders in line with how you designed your company. You can also request changes to your shareholding at any point. Our guide on how to request a share transfer explains the process.
Companies Incorporated before joining GetGround
The above information regarding share transfers s only applicable if you designed and incorporated your company through GetGround.
If you incorporated your company outside of the GetGround platform, share structure will depend on how you designed it when you set it up.
