Creating your limited company
You can add a brand new UK-limited company to your portfolio straight from your dashboard by following the steps below:
- Head over to the 'Portfolio' page on your dashboard
- Select the '
' button - To create a limited company, click 'Add next to the 'Create a company' section
- You will be presented with two options, Standalone or Holdco + Subsidiaries
Adding your property purchase details
You can use this section to fill out your property purchase details. If you do not yet have any, do not worry, you can simply select 'I haven't found a property yet'. You can press 'Next' to move forward to the next stage.
Creating your share structure
You will be able to set up your share structure within this stage. Make sure you are creating the correct structure and adding any shareholders during the process. All added shareholders will receive an email to join.
Tax questions
We need to ask this question in relation to the Owner's loan. Please let us know if you have any questions, our team would be happy to help.
Adding your solicitor details
We can work with your solicitors and make sure any necessary documentation is sent to them upon company incorporation. Also, having your solicitor details on the system, it means we can communicate on your behalf.
If you do not have a solicitor, we can refer you to one.
Reviewing your subscription
You will be able to review the subscription amount and confirm payment within this stage.
Completing your company
You will be asked to pay the set-up fee and once clicking 'Finish and setup', your new company will be with our team.
You can check the status of your new company from the 'Today' page under 'Your updates'.
